Its primary purposes are to raise funds for research into melanoma treatments and to raise awareness amongst the Australian population of the risks of the disease and initiatives to reduce its incidence.

The role of the Board is to provide effective governance to the Foundation.  The Board approves and monitors the strategic direction, provides sound financial management and ensures statutory compliance, and advises and supports the CEO in enabling the AMRF vision.

  • Capacity for innovation and collaboration to support the growth and development of AMRF

Applicants with skills and experience in medical research funding, marketing and communications and fundraising will be highly regarded.

Board members will be required to attend (in person or remotely) 6-8 Board meetings per year. Further committee work by Board members is also expected.

All enquiries in the first instance should be directed to the Chief Executive Officer, Rachael Sporn - rachael@melanomaresearch.com.au.

Applicants should forward a two-page curriculum vitae to the CEO.

Applications should be sent no later than 9 June 2017.
